I would like to introduce you to the newest member of the Mode In Style team, Hazel Dennehy.

From the moment I was born I was destined to be a fashionista, the first item of clothing I ever wore was a pretty floral pattern dress, and to this day I am still wearing the same type of clothes!!! I would describe my style as romantic, playful and totally girly.....If it's pink and has a bow on it, it must be mine!!!! Growing up in Ireland it was all about the style, it was very important to look you're best at all times. As a nation the Irish really take a sense of pride in their appearance, I really think it's in our genes!! My great grandmother was 99 and still into her fashion, every time I went to visit her I would have to bring her a new dress (really cute old woman dresses, you know the kind with pearls attached!!). Even though she never left the house she wanted to look her best for her visitors!! So I grew up around a lot of fashionable women, especially my mom, it's thanks to her that I am the stylish woman I am today!

I'm so excited to have the opportunity to share my style and fashion knowledge with all of our clients at Mode In Style. I will be assisting Val with personal styling, event styling, closet purging, image consulting and all things fashion related. I have a plethora of experience in dressing every body type from petite to plus size, and no matter what you're figure I have the ability to make you look and feel fabulous.

Fun and Inventive Fashion Tips For The Resourceful Lady!! 💖

Here at ModeInStyle we have a team of Irish stylists and us Irish love nothing more than some savvy fashion tips, so today we are going to share our latest finds with you!!!

Enjoy!

1) DIY Double Clothes Hangers.

Let's face it ladies you can never have enough space in your closet, and the good news is I have found a very cheap and effective way of doubling your closet space! All you need to do is save those little tabs from your soda can!! It's also a great way to pair your outfits and have them ready to go!!

(2) Hosiery &  Hairspray

Well as we all know already, you can save a run in your tights by putting some clear nail polish on it, ( I know this all too well growing up in Ireland tights were a mandatory part of my school uniform for the best part of 15 years!! And this was before nice soft tights came to Ireland - oh I can feel the itch just thinking about it, lol) . But  now I've learnt how to prevent a run in the first place and it's so
simple....Hairspray!! Before you wear your tights give them a quick spray, paying special attention to the areas that are prone to runs!! Easy Peasy!!

(3) Tights Under Ripped Jeans

This is probably my favorite tip!! This is something Ive been doing at home in Ireland for years....I used to wear tights under all my pants, not as a fashion statement (you couldn't even see them) it was just to stay warm!! So that is were I got the inspiration to add fashion tights under ripped jeans,  it really adds a nice sexy girly feel to them, so not only does it look good but it's also a handy way to keep you warm and these San Franciscan nights can get pretty chilly!!

(4) Make Your Own Cap Toe Shoes

This is a ModeInStyle favorite!! If you're like us and you have a closet full of old shoes, that you are just bored of here's a fun and easy way to bring them back to life!!! All you need is some tape and spray, check out the image below. I'm loving the metallic gold but you could use any shoe or any color, be as creative as you like!!

(5) Choosing Necklace For Necklines

At ModeInStyle we feel that pairing the correct style of jewellery with your neckline can make a huge difference to your outfit! Check it out the photo below, it has everything you need to know!
