How does the way we dress affect us?!!

Its no new news that our clothes say a lot about us. Your outfit immediately informs people of your type of employment, spending habits, ambitions and emotions. Now there is a whole new type of psychology based on this topic. I just bought clinical psychologist Dr. Jennifer Baumgartners book "You are what you wear - what your clothes reveal about you". I'm really excited to begin reading it and as soon as I'm done I will post a review and share my new tips with you all. But today Val and I would just like to put it in simple terms and give you our opinion on how clothes affect peoples perception of others and self-perception.

Val and I are firm believers in the fact that how we dress affects our mood, whenever we're feeling a little bit down, we will purposely put together a killer outfit and in no time at all we will find ourselves confidently strutting down the street with smiles from ear to ear!! Looking good = Feeling good!!

That's not to stay that you have to be dressed to the nines everyday, but your outfit should look like you put effort into your appearance. This is something that comes naturally to some people, Val and myself have been blessed with this talent!In fact,I was just telling Val that ever since I can remember I have been planning my outfits for the following day whilst trying to fall asleep, and I cannot rest until I have put the right rig out together in my mind!
